DAY 4: PATRICIA MILLER

Today I’d like to share one story with you that I wrote for Women Who Make, a book about women who are leaders in manufacturing.

Through their stories, you’ll get to go behind-the-scenes and learn how these women got into manufacturing and why they believe it is an excellent career path for young women.

Our story today, “Chart Your Path,” is about Patricia Miller, CEO + Visionary of Matrix4 in Woodstock, Illinois.

Patricia is the new face of manufacturing today: youthful, hip, confident, and wickedly smart. Meeting her begs you to alter your mind about what you think about manufacturing and the people who work in it.

She is an incredibly gifted and talented young woman. Having had political ambitions when she started her career, she then moved on to the adrenaline-fueled biotech industry and traveled the world, and then bought a failing manufacturing company and turned it financially around into a thriving business.

Patricia’s story is fascinating. She is an awe-inspiring role model for young women. She has a deep soul, a generous spirit, and leads with her heart.
