DAY 3: ERICA WIEGEL

Today I’d like to share one story with you that I wrote for Women Who Make, a book about women who are leaders in manufacturing.

Through their stories, you’ll get to go behind-the-scenes and learn how these women got into manufacturing and why they believe it is an excellent career path for young women.

Our story today, “A Role Model for Bravery,” is about Erica Wiegel, President of ARO Metal Stamping Company and part-owner of Wiegel Tool Works, Inc.

Erica is a powerful, and excellent role model for young women. She exhibits confidence in herself and her abilities to achieve the bold goals she sets for herself. She is an enthusiastic proponent of manufacturing and sees it as a pathway to a financially rewarding career.

One of her key points is many manufacturing employers pay to educate and provide training to their employees, which can literally help someone avoid crushing college debt and achieve lifetime earnings that exceed many other career choices.

If you’d like to read the rest of Erica’s story and get her thoughts about why she thinks manufacturing is an excellent career choice for young women and read all of the women’s stories in the book, visit Amazon.com.
